Feedstock/Substrate Testing for Anaerobic Digestion
We are pleased to offer Specific Methanogenic Activity Testing to our clients. This type of testing is used to:
- Establish the degree of degrabilibty of several substrates (feedstocks)
- Determine the quantity of methane that will be generated for a particular substrate
- Determine the maximum digester organic load that can be applied to a certain substrate or sludge type
- Determine the optimum mix of substrates for co-digesting to maximize biogas production
- Detect changes in biomass activity during normal operations
